What does Equity, Anti-Racism, and Equality mean?

On Wednesday June 20th at the Bethaday Community Learning Space (605 SW 108th St, Seattle) from 12:00 – 1:30 PM, we will be talking about equity, anti-racism and equality means with community leaders, equity advocates, and teachers. Often these buzzwords get misused, and in the process, actually serve to undermine racial justice movements. In order to best advocate for our kids, we need to be precise in our language, and stay rooted in the concepts that guide our work.
