We’re looking for new Board members!

As an organization serving kids of color, we are committed to having our Board of Directors reflect the racial, ethnic, and cultural diversity of the children in Washington schools.

The back of a person raising their hand

“Equity in Education says it all. My initial involvement in this group came out of the realization that there is no other group like it that is advocating for the inclusion of our communities of color in the educational system. This group “shines a light” on the issues that are often overlooked or not included in the education discussion. We remind stakeholders that we are an integral part of the solution and not the problem! I am a proud and loyal member of the EEC.”

Bernal Baca, EEC Board Member
