Matthew is most passionate about being our whole human selves and connecting in our shared humanity, free of the impacts of white supremacy, systemic racism, and oppression. For the last 18 years, Matthew has worked at the intersection of personal transformation and systems change. For Matthew, there is no greater place to practice this intersection than the work of anti-racism and anti-oppression. He believes the core of this work is rooted in healing and liberation and our ability to build transformational relationships and partnerships that lead to and support systemic change.  He has facilitated racial equity professional development for all parts of the K-12 system, cities, state government, community partners, families, and colleges. Since 2010, she has led many groups of diverse community partners as a part of decision-making processes, including policy, procedures, and funding, keeping community, family, and student voices at the center. He is an excellent facilitator and holds space for the hard and needed conversations of anti-racism and conflict resolution.
